This was an interesting project with the owners wanting a new extension of the rear of the existing house to be modern, but also match in with the historical look of the heritage house at the front.
Creating a two storey modern extension at the rear comprising of lounge, dining, kitchen and laundry to the ground floor, with the first floor consisting of two extra large bedrooms and an ensuite of the main. Each bedroom led onto a balcony overlooking the beautiful Canada Bay and with city views in the background, made this the perfect opportunity to use large stacking sliding doors and glass handrails to maximise the views.
